I saw this promotion by Maxis on HTC Flyer package, where they selling 2,499 with 24 months rebate and told the prospects at the end of 2 years the device cost only 159.
Yet, I think it is tricky and not worth the money paid, as can get iPad2 at 1899 with data package 70 only, and HTC Flyer seems a bit bulky when compared to Galaxy Tab, even though both on 7" screen but the side bars on HTC Flyer are wider, making it harder to hold on hand.
Any comment on this?

I think Ipad2 RM1899 is without wifi model am i right ? because recently one of my friend just bought 32gb with 3G around RM2199 , in my opinion first we need to know which model we want to choose first ( base on your demand of usage ) , second then we look on the promotion offer.

My personal Ideal for buying tablet,
1) Spec and OS ( is must able to suit what i need , if possible get highest spec in the range )
2) The Company Unique feature ( Some company able to give the unique design for certain client demand like HTC Flyer with the scriber easy for note you can draw anything you one on any interface )
3) Battery consumption
4) Warranty ( the more Warranty more peace of mind we get , because every touch screen is have a life spend around 10000 touch per pixer, so average 2 to 4 years the screen will run out depend on usage )
5) Price ( Currently Tablet Price is within RM 1000 to RM 2500 depend with model you get )
Rumors : June will start production HTC Puccini is the most highest spec model compare to the latest Ipad 2 and Galaxy Tap 2 is also with the HTC Scriber is sound like HTC Flyer upgrade model .
